The Ukrainian army will do everything possible to end the war with Russia this year. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vadim Skibitsky in an interview with Corriere della Sera.

According to him, the main goal for Ukraine is to reach the country’s borders in 1991:

“We will make every effort to end the war this year. It also depends on how economic affairs develop in Russia and whether economic pressure remains high.”

Skibitsky added that Ukraine’s victory also depends on whether the West will also actively support Ukraine, as it does today.
