British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace made a number of remarks about the “big Russian offensive” in an interview with the FT on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Despite fears that Russia will slow down a new offensive on the anniversary of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there are no signs of a large concentration of Russian troops, as was the case on February 24.

If the “big” Russian offensive advances, then not a kilometer, but a meter. At the same time, Russia continues to use the tactics of “meat grinder” and bear a significant decrease.

It is reported that 3,000 Russian soldiers died in the three days of the offensive.

Russia still has a large number of troops at its disposal, but we are faced with the fact that when they gather in one place, they are beaten.

180,000 Russian soldiers were wounded or killed in Ukraine. I’m not sure that even Russia can suffer such losses. Because 180 thousand people have wives, mothers, sisters and friends – it is impossible to hide such a scale of losses from the population.

Russia is actively stockpiling artillery shells for the front.

Ukraine also supports the lack of public transport on the front line. This deficit has always existed, but I do not see signs of a strategic lack of traffic. However, there is a certain delay in delivery.

Western fighters are still far away. The training that the UK has welcomed for Ukrainian pilots is the main measure Ukraine should take after the war.
