The full-scale invasion of Ukraine has caused the terrorist state of Russia to sour relations with old Soviet allies. This was shown, in particular, by large-scale protests in Georgia against the legislative initiatives of the ruling Georgian Dream party, which has pro-Russian views.

Russia also lost its power and authority due to the war against Ukraine in other post-Soviet countries. It is reported by The Guardian.

Georgia’s ruling party has attempted to crack down on civil society and win the upcoming elections by passing a law on “foreign agents” that is practically a copy of a similar law in the Russian Federation. However, the ruling party’s proximity to Moscow and similarities to the infamous Russian law were a trigger for Georgians to join the protests.
