Assistance to socially vulnerable categories of the population of Odesa region is extremely important and necessary. These categories include people suffering from social and economic vulnerability, such as large families, single pensioners, people with disabilities, IDPs and others.
Ronald MacDonald House Charities (Ukraine) once again provided assistance to those families who need it the most in the conditions of a brutal war.
This was announced by the President of the International Democratic Platform Leonid Voznenko on his Facebook page:
Over the past few days, in cooperation with Dalnytskyi village head Serhiy Krutyuk, humanitarian aid in the form of 110 food kits from Ronald MacDonald House Charities (Ukraine) was handed over to socially vulnerable sections of the population (persons with disabilities, large families, pensioners aged 75 and older, other categories) in the village of Novohradkivka of the Dalnytsk OTG, Odesa district. We express our sincere gratitude to Ronald MacDonald House Charities (Ukraine) for its constant support of families who find themselves in a difficult life situation! We hope for further fruitful cooperation!
Ronald MacDonald House Charities is the world’s leading charity that helps families stay with their children while they are in hospital. Its founding partner in Ukraine is McDonald’s. During its more than 48-year history, the Foundation has created and continues to implement a number of programs around the world that support families in difficult times, giving sick children the opportunity to be close to a loving family.
Our flagship program in Ukraine — the Ronald McDonald Family Room — has already helped thousands of families to be by their side in hospitals when their child was sick. And in this difficult time for Ukraine, we have also launched support programs for families and children’s hospitals suffering from the war, – it is written on the Facebook page of the foundation.
